A blog friend asked me:
maybe you could give us a prayer for little Christina, I for one would so greatly appreciate it.
I’m extremely humbled by that request.
I myself have nothing to offer that can make this loss any less painful, but I will share what I can from my thoughts and God’s word, then pray that the Holy Spirit provides comfort to everyone in this nation who is seeking comfort.
She was an amazingly talented and amazingly beautiful girl

Christina’s mother is a beautiful example of a woman living out this verse:
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Even in the midst of unspeakable pain, she gives thanks for the time she had with her daughter. She is not cursing God, she is thanking Him.
I have no doubt that Christina is actually very happy right now with Jesus Christ and with her relatives in Heaven.
But we here on Earth mourn the loss of an amazing girl who no doubt would have grown up to be an amazing woman. We were robbed of her. And make no doubt about who robbed us of her…
God did not “call her home”. We were robbed by the thief.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Satan worked through Jared Loughner to steal Christina’s Earthly life, but he could not steal her eternal life. She is in Heaven.
My hope and prayer is that from this incredibly evil act, there is a seed of good that will blossom and grow into something powerfully good. I pray that just as with 9/11/2001, that once again people would turn back to God, and that many people would be saved as a result of her death.
And I pray that we would return to a proper understanding of the 1st amendment and allow the Bible back into public schools. Who knows if things might have been different if Jared had been taught the 10 commandments and the Golden Rule. I think it’s quite possible things would have been different if Jared had been taught “thou shall not kill” and “love your neighbor as yourself”.
And 60 years ago, a Democratic President seemed to agree:

If those children have the proper environment at home, and educationally, very, very few of them ever turn out wrong. I don’t think we put enough stress on the necessity of implanting in the child’s mind the moral code under which we live.
The fundamental basis of this Nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days.
If we don’t have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.

Olbermann, Cooper, Maddow and Schultz desperately tried to link the shooting to the Tea Party movement in effort to politicize a criminal act according to their narrative. This conveniently ignores that Loughner’s favorite books are both extremist left-wing idiology. “The Communist Manifesto” and “Mein Kampf” are not exactly great books, or well written, or even all that coherent, but are favorites of Loughner’s. If you want to see more of their sick insanity, just look at daily kos where the kid’s obvious liberalism is “republicorp disinformation”, mediamatters where his facebook and myspace accounts are “fakes.” What a joke. Is there nothing they’ll stop at to further their agenda?

Exactly. Socialism and Communism are inextricably linked. The Communist Party USA has both a Constitution and a Program that make it clear that Socialism is just the first step, and their true end goal is Communism.
The Nazis were National Socialists. They were far LEFT, although the MSM (Marxist Soros Media) will tell you that the Nazis were “far right”.
A person who claims (as Loughner did) that their favorite books include “The Communist Manifesto” and “Mein Kampf” is not a “far right” person, they are a “far left” person.
Those who know Loughner say that he is a “leftist”.
Loughner posted a video of him burning an American flag.
You won’t find people at Tea Parties burning American flags and praising Socialism and Communism.
For the media to claim that Loughner was influenced by Sarah Palin and the Tea Parties is certifiably insane.
Oh, this is rich…
The Communists can’t deal with the truth that Loughner himself claimed “The Communist Manifesto” as one of his favorite books.
So how do the Communists explain that? Well, it must be the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, of course!
Someone please compare and contrast:
– the talking points of Sheriff Dupnik,
– the talking points of the MSM (Marxist Soros Media), and
– the talking points of the CPUSA (Communist Party USA).

By the same token I think it nigh impossibile to compare or contrast talking points of Dupnik, MSM, or CPUSA, since anyone of the three are the mirror image of the other two. Why did sheriff Dupnik allow this lunatic [shooter] to prowl the streets of Tuscon?

I really needed to read this today. It makes all my sorrow seem so insignificant. Those moments her mother spent saying goodbye to Christina in the hospital dwarf my own moments of self-pity.
