Christmas is the season of giving. It started when God the Father gave us the greatest gift of all:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
This baby would grow up to confirm that believing in Him is the one and only way to everlasting life with the Father:
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Understand what is “X’ed out” when people write “XMAS”…they are “X’ing out” Christ.
Keep Christ in “Christmas”, and don’t “X” Him out.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, let us remember WHY He came.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
And, as challenging as it is to fully comprehend this, remember what Jesus Christ told us:
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
How can we do greater works than Jesus? I believe the answer lies in working together. When Jesus walked the Earth, he was the only God-filled man. Today, there are millions of Holy Spirit-filled believers. I believe that when we are unified together, and act as one, that is when we fulfill the words found in John 14:12.
