How Do We Open Their Eyes?

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

Love the blog. Opening eyes is the great challenge of our time. I think we instinctively know what is good and what is not. A popular catch phrase is “its all good.” No it is not. I think the challenge is to focus on the eternal and awaken in people their knowledge of what is good. By reclaiming the good from the “its all good” crowd, words regain their meaning and it becomes possible to work for what is good.

On a political note, Barak Obama spent 150 million to improve Chicago Public Schools as part of the Annenberg Challenge. The result no appreciable change.

Compare and contrast with the contributions of Sarah Palin and Trig to the cause of special needs children. One is very public and the other is not.

Who was it who said that morality is what we do when nobody else is looking?

  2. AngryDumbo,

Thank you for your comment and kind words.

Interesting point about “it’s all good”. All though it literally says “It is all good”, I don’t think people who say it mean that everything going on in the world is good, but rather that it all works together for good:

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

    Romans 8:28

Now that being said, we need to be careful to say exactly what we mean and mean exactly what we say.

So…I agree with you that we should not say, “It’s all good.” We should instead say, “It all works together for good because I love God.”

The $150 Million given to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge should definitely be investigated. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for all corruption, regardless of party, to be exposed, prosecuted, convicted, and prevented. In my opinion, it appears that Barack Obama is guilty of the corruption that he said leads to “quiet riot”.

In terms of “morality is what we do when nobody else is looking”, I think of this:

Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

    Matthew 6:1-2

It all works together for good because I love God.

  5. Spiritual Warfare is likely to manifest into physical warfare in the near future, not becuase of us, but because of them…

You Say You Want A Revolution?

    But do not fear.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

    2 Timothy 1:7

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

    Romans 8:28
