“Post-Racial” Candidate Chooses Site of Race Riot to Launch Campaign and Showcase VP

The Springfield Race Riot of 1908 in Lincoln’s hometown of Springfield, Illinois is often cited as the spark that initiated the formation of the NAACP.

Barack Hussein Obama II (a.k.a. Barry Soetoro) chose Springfield, Illinois as the location from which to launch his campaign and now showcase his VP pick.

  1. Chief RZ says:

It could have been a coincidence. But perhaps not. He is playing the race card and has made veiled threats through others. This election must confront these rioters that we will not be intimidated. We the people of the USA vote at the ballot box without physical intimidation as in communist countries.

  2. I don’t believe it was a coincidence. The location of both the campaign kickoff and the VP announcement was the Old Statehouse. That is historically relevant in regards to the riots that happened 100 years ago.

Even if one thinks Springfield was chosen because it was Lincoln’s hometown, that is still relevant because Lincoln is credited with the Emancipation Proclimation, but Barack styles himself as the one who will truly “free the slaves”. (See Black Liberation Theology).

  3. It took longer than I expected, but race riots have indeed come as part of Obama Nation…

  4. I was just thinking about various areas that a President influences, and how each one of them is now worse after 4.5 years of Obama…

Economy… worse than it was in January 2009.

Foreign Relations… worse than they were in January 2009.

Race Relations… worse than they were in January 2009.

Respect for the Rule of Law… worse than it was in January 2009.

Mob violence… worse than it was in January 2009.

    Etc….
