Who’s Your Daddy?

July 2011 UPDATE:

All of Obama’s speeches which used to be accessable at BarackObama.com have been SCRUBBED.

The link below to
no longer shows the speech.

That speech is, however, still accessable in archives here and here.

Remarks of Senator Barack Obama: Apostolic Church of God
Chicago, IL | June 15, 2008
Good morning. It’s good to be home on this Father’s Day with my girls, and it’s an honor to spend some time with all of you today in the house of our Lord.

What are you doing speaking from a church pulpit, Senator? If a Republican did that, the ACLU would be demanding that the IRS remove the church’s tax exempt status. And saying “our Lord” or “my Lord” is not the same as saying “the Lord”. The first two imply that Jesus is Lord for some people, but not Lord of all. Jesus is Lord, and those are the three simple words that the Bible says people can only say by the Holy Spirit. If you’re looking to pass the “spirit test“, you need to say those three words, exactly like that. “Jesus is Lord”. No variations are acceptable. “Our Lord” doesn’t cut it. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords.

At the end of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus closes by saying, “Whoever hears these words of mine, and does them, shall be likened to a wise man who built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock.” [Matthew 7: 24-25]

I give credit where credit is due. I give credit to Barack for quoting scripture correctly (which is better than Nancy Pelosi did). But let’s look at two verses in the larger context:

The Narrow Way

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

You Will Know Them by Their Fruits

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

I Never Knew You

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Build on the Rock

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Matthew 7:13-29

Look at the fruit on Obama’s tree: Tony Rezko, William Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, his first job as a Communist Community Organizer.  Not good fruit…bad fruit.

I continue to believe that Barack Obama is a wolf in sheeps clothing, and will until I hear him say the three simple words “Jesus is Lord”.

Here at Apostolic, you are blessed to worship in a house that has been founded on the rock of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Sorry, that variation on a theme doesn’t pass the spirit test. The only thing that does is “Jesus is Lord“.

Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives, we are reminded today that family is the most important.

Wrong. Jesus Christ is the rock upon which we build our lives.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:4

Jesus Christ, not family, is the most important.

I know what it means to have an absent father, although my circumstances weren’t as tough as they are for many young people today. Even though my father left us when I was two years old, and I only knew him from the letters he wrote and the stories that my family told

That’s a lie. Barack did not only know his father from “the letters he wrote and the stories that my family told”. Look (before they modify it!) at the Wikipedia entry for Barack’s father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. Barack spent time with his father when he was 10 years old. His father made such an impression upon him that he wrote an entire book about his father and his father’s dreams. Barack’s father was a Muslim and a Communist. But don’t ask Barack about that…move along, nothing to see here…

Still, I know the toll that being a single parent took on my mother

But didn’t his mother remarry? What about Barack’s step-father, Lolo Soetoro?

So I resolved many years ago that it was my obligation to break the cycle – that if I could be anything in life, I would be a good father to my girls; that if I could give them anything, I would give them that rock – that foundation – on which to build their lives. And that would be the greatest gift I could offer.

So, Barack, can we talk to your girls and have them tell us about how you gave them that rock – Jesus – that foundation on which to build their lives? That is the greatest gift you could offer.

As a father, something else you give to your children is their name. Often, you choose a name for them that has special meaning to you. You chose the names Malia and Sasha for your daughters. Did you name your first daughter after Martin Malia? Your second daughter’s name is especially common in Russia and surrounding countries. Would you like to discuss why you chose those names for your daughters, Comrade Obama?

We know that education is everything to our children’s future. We know that they will no longer just compete for good jobs with children from Indiana, but children from India and China and all over the world.

This is the second time today that I’ve noticed Obama cite India and China as competitors. Note well that Russia is an observer nation in the “57 state” OIC, while India and China are not. In my opinion, it appears that Obama is the candidate of the Russian Communists, while Hillary Clinton is the candidate of the Chinese Communists. Both groups are competing for control of our country. Unfortunately, John McCain sides with them frequently (for oppressive AGW taxes, against drilling in ANWR, for Amnesty, etc.)

it’s a responsibility that also extends to Washington. Because if fathers are doing their part; if they’re taking our responsibilities seriously to be there for their children, and set high expectations for them, and instill in them a sense of excellence and empathy, then our government should meet them halfway.

No, keep the government out of parenting.

And that is why the final lesson we must learn as fathers is also the greatest gift we can pass on to our children – and that is the gift of hope.

No, that’s not the greatest gift we can pass on to our children.

If we are willing to believe.

I believe in Jesus Christ, not Barack Obama.

I was answering questions at a town hall meeting in Wisconsin the other day and a young man raised his hand, and I figured he’d ask about college tuition or energy or maybe the war in Iraq. But instead he looked at me very seriously and he asked, “What does life mean to you?”

Now, I have to admit that I wasn’t quite prepared for that one. I think I stammered for a little bit

Yes, because you are only a great orator when you have a prepared speech to deliver.

but then I stopped and gave it some thought, and I said this:
…Are they living in a county where there’s a huge gap between a few who are wealthy and a whole bunch of people who are struggling every day? Are they living in a county that is still divided by race? A country where, because they’re girls, they don’t have as much opportunity as boys do? Are they living in a country where we are hated around the world because we don’t cooperate effectively with other nations? Are they living a world that is in grave danger because of what we’ve done to its climate?

Marxism 101.

“The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.”

– Karl Marx, The Communist Manifesto

Obama is not interested in unity. He is interested in division. He is interested in class struggle, in race struggle, in gender struggle, in age struggle.

Obama does not believe in the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream that we “grow up” and be “color blind“.

Obama wants to be loved by the “57 states” of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference

Obama promotes the “green” AGW hoax and the oppressive socialist taxes to “fix” a non-existent issue.

We do what we can to build our house upon the sturdiest rock. And when the winds come, and the rains fall, and they beat upon that house, we keep faith that our Father will be there to guide us, and watch over us, and protect us, and lead His children through the darkest of storms into light of a better day. That is my prayer for all of us on this Father’s Day, and that is my hope for this country in the years ahead. May God Bless you and your children. Thank you.

I believe Obama staffers read what I write. I remind them that it is Ronald Reagan who brought us out of the night of Jimmy Carter’s Socialism. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is running for Jimmy Carter’s second term. Why is the Communist Zbigniew Brzezinski (Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor (!)) a “foreign policy advisor” to Barack Obama?

  2. Go ahead and call this speaker and his audience “racist”…

I’m not the only one asking, “Who’s Your Daddy?!?”

  3. I’m not endorsing the web site shown on that video. I just find that particular video enlightening… listen to how the audience accepts the speaker’s hypothesis…

  4. Back when I wrote this post more than three years ago on June 18, 2008, I said:

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is running for Jimmy Carter’s second term.

Time has proven that is precisely the case…
