Obama Goes To Church… To Hear a Muslim Guest Speaker

It was widely reported that Obama and his family went to church this past Sunday.

But what was not widely reported is that he went to hear a MUSLIM speak!

…on Sunday, September 19, 2010, the Obama family attended church for only the third time in a year. They went on foot to the St. John’s Episcopal Church situated across the Lafayette Park.

But what is widely not reported by the White House and the MSM is that on that particular Sunday in that particular church, Dr. Ziad Asali, M.D., a Muslim, founder and president of the American Task Force on Palestine, was the guest speaker. He was there to speak on the subject of “Prospects of the two-state solution in the Middle-East.”

So, once again, Obama gets to appear “Christian” to the Christians, and at the same time be seen by the Muslims as supporting the Muslim agenda.

In Memory of My Friend & All of the Victims, Both Seen & Unseen

It’s been nine years since my friend, and thousands of other innocent people, were murdered.

It’s been two years since I wrote this post, and my feelings haven’t changed.

I post this today in memory of my friend and all of the victims of 9/11/2001, both those seen and unseen.

2 days. (1 day in each of his first 2 weeks in office at 45%)

Number of days when Obama’s “STRONG DISAPPROVAL” was >= 45%:

21 days

(6 of which have come in the last 7 days…
2 days at 45%, 2 days at 46%, and 2 days at 47% strong disapproval.

The other 15 days of >= 45% strong disapproval are spread out from as far back as 12/22/2009)

Obama’s current STRONG DISAPPROVAL now exceeds what his
STRONG APPROVAL was at its very peak.

And I don’t think that today’s press conference is going to help him.

During Obama.. I am broke.

I would LOVE to go back to the Bush years…

A Few Quick Words About Gallup Polls

There is good reason to question Gallup polls now…

And Gallup polls have been questionable for decades…

I echo some of the thoughts from a post on The Cassandra Page from the last election cycle:

One such treasure trove of facts is found in Phyllis Schlafly’s 1964 paperback, “A Choice Not an Echo.” In Choice, Schlafly breaks down each Republican primary battle from 1936 through 1960 and shows how establishment Republicans (those with ties to the publishing and banking world) had undermined the choice of the rank-and-file Republicans with false charges (spread through an obliging MSM) of “extremism” and “unelectability.”

Among my favorite chapters is Chapter 6, in which she discusses polls – “Pollsters and Hoaxsters” (1944):

The New York Kingmakers realized they could not capture the 1944 Republican nomination either with Wilkie or with the same type of last-minute blitz they had used in 1940. This time they went into action earlier. They discovered and developed a new political weapon: the Gallup Poll. Dr. George Gallup began asking a lot of questions of a very few people, and – funny thing – he usually came up with answers that pleased the New York kingmakers.

The Gallup Poll has been used repeatedly as a subtle propaganda machine to sell the Republicans on the false propositions that the GOP cannot win unless it (1) continues the New Deal foreign policy (Soviet appeasement – Salt) and (2) names candidates who will appeal to the left-leaning Democrats and liberals.
