The truth is that Governor Lingle has never claimed to have looked at the original, initial vital record for the birth of Barack Hussein Obama.
The truth is that Governor Lingle has never claimed that the COLB that was produced at and by the Obama campaign headquarters is authentic. She has never “certified”, in a legal sense, anything about Obama’s birth.
The truth is that Governor Lingle did an interview with WABC that included her saying the following words (bold emphasis mine):
This issue kept coming up so much in the campaign, and again I think it’s one of those issues that is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country. So I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it’s again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this.
The truth is that Lingle, whether intentionally or not, did not tell the truth.
Here’s what Fukino did and did not say in her October 31, 2008 statement: Parsing the Statement by Dr. Fukino about Barack Hussein Obama’s Official Birth Certificate
Here’s what Fukino did and did not say in her July 27, 2009 statement: Which Government Organization Was The First To Say, “Obama was born in Hawaii”?
Now, Governor Lingle falsely claimed that the October 31, 2008 statement said “that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.” That is patently false. Regardless of whether Lingle is being intentionally dishonest or just clueless, it doesn’t matter… she is speaking lies, and cannot be trusted.
If that weren’t bad enough, CNN is now selectively editing Governor Lingle’s words in order to conceal her lie and create their own lie… the lie that Lingle “certified Obama’s birth certificate as legitimate”. CNN says (again, bold emphasis mine):
The Republican governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle, has recently certified Obama’s birth certificate as legitimate.”I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health,” Lingle recently told WABC. “The president was in fact born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact.”
Do you see CNN’s distortion? Do you see what they left out?
Let’s take Lingle’s actual words and see how CNN edited them…
I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact and yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue and I think it’s again a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this.
“And that’s just a fact…”
No, that’s just a lie.
Governor Lingle’s Lie:
we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.
CNN Edits Governor Lingle’s Words to Conceal her Lie and Create their own Lie:
I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health. The president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact.
Do you think CNN’s editing leaves out a key detail? A detail that is demonstrably a lie?
When Governor Lingle said, “And that’s just a fact”, she was referring to the releasing of the news release. (A news release that absolutely did NOT say what she claimed it said, but she was referring nonetheless to the releasing of the news release)
CNN edited Governor Lingle’s words to leave out the false claim about what the news release said, and instead creates their own misperception that the false claim itself was what Governor Lingle was referring to when she said “And that’s just a fact.”
Do you think this shows any bias on CNN’s part?
The people who are creating “a horrible distraction for the country” are those who will not tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
Audio of Lingle’s interview can be found here, and I’ll also post it as the first comment.
Lingle has stated outright falsehoods as certain truths. She is either a useful idiot or an intentional and shameless liar. (I personally think it’s the former, but that’s irrelevant…) What matters is that Lingle cannot be trusted.
If Obama was in fact born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, then there is a long-form birth certificate to prove it. And that’s just a fact. If they don’t release the long-form birth certificate to prove it, then we must assume that it does not really exist. And if it does not exist, then the Obama birth narrative is fraudulent.
The Contrapositive: If No Long Form Birth Certificate, Then Obama “Birth Narrative” is Fraudulent

Ryan, you said:
“many of the people”?
Please provide some specific examples out of the “many” that you think exist. Please provide not just your accusations, but actual evidence to back it up.
“birther movement”?
That is an Alinsky tactic to smear a group of people. It is like how the same Alinsky tactic is used to call the John Birch Society members “Birchers”.
“Birchers”…”Birthers”… get it?
It’s not a “birther movement”, it’s a Constitutionalist movement.
We don’t just take Obama’s (in)eligibility on blind faith.
You want to smear “many of the people” in the Tea Party movement as racists who “would like nothing more than to send Obama “back to Africa”, along with anyone else that looks like him”.
I’ve been to several Tea Parties, and I have never seen a single incident of racism. What I have seen is people who support and defend our Constitution. People of all backgrounds and skin colors. If “many of the people” in the Tea Party movement were racists, do you think you would see blacks at Tea Parties?
Look in the mirror, Ryan, and repeat those words back to yourself.
At least you admit the problem. Stop projecting your problem on me and/or people with whom I associate.
I respond to truth. I respond to certified authentic documents that originate from a certificate authority. Not forged documents that are produced at and by a campaign headquarters and only shown to a small, politicaly-connected, non-governmental agency. I respond to court decisions that actually look at the merits of the case.
You choose smears. I choose facts, the Constitution, and the law.
August 14, 2010 at 11:42 am
Ryan,
1) I distance myself from all forms of racism.
2) You have yet to prove that “racists elements” exist in the Tea Party movement. That is an unfounded accusation, and I reject the very accusation unless and until you have proof.
August 14, 2010 at 11:44 am
August 14, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Yes, of course Mr. Pill.
You post wild speculation here without any kind of proof whatsoever, and dare the rest of the thinking population to prove you wrong. That’s not how it works.
You are full of it my friend.
August 14, 2010 at 5:11 pm
To the contrary, Ryan. I stick to the facts. Obama’s Eligibility is a Matter of Faith.
You post wild speculation that
I don’t dare you to prove me wrong, I dare you to prove you are right. That’s how it works. Members of the Tea Party are innocent of the charge of racism until proven guilty. That’s how it works.
You have absolutely no evidence to back up your false claim.
You are full of it “my friend”.
Back up your smear with solid evidence, or Take Off, Hose Head!
August 14, 2010 at 6:52 pm
Obama’s eligibility is not a matter of faith any more than saying the earth is round is a matter of faith. Where strong evidence exists, faith is not necessary. Faith is when you believe in things for which there exists little or no evidence, like your conspiracy theory, like alien abductions, and of course, like religion.
The Tea Party movement goes to great lengths to link Obama with Muslims – as do you – and this is an to appeal to people who do not like Muslims. In your case I think it’s probably because you disapprove of their way of life and their religion. Some people, however, do not know anything about their way of life or religion, and are scared of them because they are different. That is racism. In any case, it’s either racism, or a fear tactic to gain the support of people who are racist. Fox News does this every single day.
August 14, 2010 at 7:05 pm
Your reply ignores my challenge for you to provide solid evidence to back up your prior smear:
Instead of defending your prior smear, you move on to a new one. Now it’s not racism against “anyone else that looks like him”, but rather racism against Muslims.
I have lived in a Muslim-majority country. Have you?
I have friends who are Muslim. Do you?
I disapprove of armed Jihad. Do you?
I disapprove of Sharia law being forced upon the United States and/or your home country of Canada. Do you?
Muslims who can live peacefully under our Constitution are welcome here.
Muslims who want to subvert the Constitution are guilty of treason and are not welcome here. There are plenty of Sharia law countries where they would be welcomed.
August 14, 2010 at 7:18 pm
Another claim without evidence.
I go to great lengths to show how the Obamas themselves go to great lengths to link themselves with Muslims.
Barack is the one who publicly confessed, with a perfect Arabic accent, “Allah is The Greatest! I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.
Truth: The Adhan is the Islamic call to prayer, and begins with four recitals of the words “Allahu Akbar” ([translated] “Allah is The Greatest”), followed by two recitals each of [translated] “I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah” and [translated] “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.
With her trip to “Al-Andulus”, Michelle Obama endorsed and actively participated in the “Cordoba Initiative”.
And now, Barack Obama does the same… at a Ramadan “iftar” dinner he hosted at the White House!
Obama defends Ground Zero Mosque to Muslims
at White House “Ramadan dinner”
August 14, 2010 at 9:40 pm
Tea Party people, being millions strong, cannot hope to weed out every single person that does not “conform”. However, racism is not tolerated at any Tea Party event. I’ve attended five events and never heard a single racist remark. Everyone was focused on Government issues – race does not play a part in that at all.
August 14, 2010 at 10:17 pm
ladysforest,
Thank you for sharing your first-hand experiences.
Ryan,
Have you ever been to a Tea Party rally?
No? I didn’t think so, being as you live in Canada and all.
You just like regurgitating the garbage that the Lame Stream Media spews and you so willingly consume and regurgitate.
August 15, 2010 at 1:49 am
In order: No, Yes, Yes, and WHAT?
Where did that last one come from? Show me one example of Sharia law (in the legal sense) being “forced” on anyone in the Western World ever. I’ll even take an example of a suggestion of sharia law being forced upon anyone. I assume you’ll bring up a Canadian case where a judge contemplated allowing a family to settle a civil dispute in religious setting outside of the court. This is tantamount to an out of court settlement, and as far as I care, they can go to a psychic or a scientologist as long as both parties agree. This is pure fear mongering. No western country has contemplated using sharia law – it’s medieval.
You should be ashamed of yourself. You consider that a confession? This is EXACTLY what I am talking about. That statement is an outright lie. If I quoted Hitler in a social studies assignment in grade 9, am I a Nazi?
The Obamas are no more linked to Muslims than the Bushes, who travelled extensively in the Middle East.
Bush held a few of those too. In fact, he started the tradition and he held EIGHT Ramadan dinners, in the same manner, in the same room – one every year. Here’s a story about the last one.
August 15, 2010 at 5:59 pm
Like Córdoba circa 1210 A.D. …
The goal of the Córdoba Initiative is
Their goal is to have sharia law in Europe and the Americas within the next decade.
Absolutely. Obama has confessed the words that Muslims believe makes you a Muslim. But he has not confessed the words that the Bible says you must confess in order to be saved.
The Confessions of Obama’s Mouth
August 15, 2010 at 9:19 pm
I don’t care what the goal is of some group half a world away. Sharia law has never been a part of any Western country’s legal system, and has never been considered as an option. You are fear mongering.
So what? I’ve read those words too, as have you. Saying them aloud does not “make” you anything, regardless of what Muslims believe.
The Bible does not say anything about any specific words. You can use any words you want, or no words at all. Has Obama done this? I doubt it – I don’t think he is a religious man. But what’s most important – is that it’s none of your business – and if he does confess those words, he need not say it to you, or anyone else.
August 16, 2010 at 8:09 am
I do care.
Even if they were “half a world away”, I would still care.
But they aren’t “half a world away”… they are the ones behind the WTC “victory mosque”…
You say…
Sorry, you’re wrong.
Has Obama ever confessed the Lord Jesus? Has Obama ever confessed “Jesus is Lord”?
August 16, 2010 at 10:45 am
So people who cannot speak cannot be Christians? This should be enough proof that the whole book is fiction.
Now it’s a “victory” mosque? Wow. Look, I wouldn’t want a mosque in my neighbourhood either, but you either believe in private property rights or you don’t. You either believe in the rights provided under the constitution or you don’t. You can’t pick and choose the people and organizations to which those rights apply.
August 16, 2010 at 11:13 am
1) If the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, etc., then I believe the mute can speak, too.
2) The people behind the Ground Zero mosque blame the 9/11 attacks on us. It’s supposedly our fault they attacked us, because we are capitalists. If we were Socialists who “spread the wealth around” to build mosques around the world, then supposedly they would not have attacked us.
3) Yes, it’s a victory mosque. Just like the numerous other victory mosques…
August 16, 2010 at 11:20 am
I know how much you love Glenn Beck ;-)
August 16, 2010 at 11:39 am
I’m not saying this is you, Ryan, but still it’s quite interesting…
August 16, 2010 at 12:31 pm
That was sort of my point.
Thanks for the Glen Beck video. Comedy gold.
August 16, 2010 at 1:11 pm
August 16, 2010 at 2:02 pm
Let us step back for a minute here. The article uses the words “Allowing” in regards to the building of this mosque (it’s not really a mosque at all – but I digress).
Are you suggesting that the government should step in and determine what private citizens should be allowed to do on private property?
I don’t want a religious centre there. I don’t want one here. I don’t really want one anywhere, but it’s not my land.
I’m all for criticizing their religion – even laughing at it and exposing them for such silly beliefs. But the fact that I can do that is protected by the same “free world” standards that allows a group to build a building in which they can do whatever they like, as long as it’s lawful.
August 16, 2010 at 2:04 pm
By the way, do some of your own thinking, and stop searching the web for articles that support your views.
Confirmation bias has a snowball effect.
August 16, 2010 at 2:11 pm
FYI, the last blog I referenced is written by guys who were lifelong Democrats until they realized how the Democrat party is no longer the Democrat party but rather the Democratic Socialist party, which is partnering with Islamists and trying to bring this country to its knees.

“Thanks for the Glen Beck video. Comedy gold.”
Proof that he gets his talking points from the likes of Huff Post and Daily Kos. But hey, when you’re a far left anti-American like him, I guess those count as unbiased sources.
“(it’s not really a mosque at all – but I digress)”
Spoken like a true MSNBC die-hard. You see, if Ryan were to do some of his own thinking and stop searching the web for articles that only support his views–as he indirectly claimed he so does–then he would know that the building in question IS a mosque.
So Ryan, with your claim that it is not a mosque, do you also claim that the Milan Cathedral, St Peter’s Basilica or Amiens Cathedral are actually not Cathedrals, but rather “Christian Cultural Centers” as all of them function as more than just places to worship, too. Actually, given the lack of intellectual honesty you have already displayed, you probably WOULD claim that just to stand behind your other claim.
“So people who cannot speak cannot be Christians? This should be enough proof that the whole book is fiction.”
How many times has he been called out for this under-handed strawman tactic? Seriously Ryan, do you have even a shred of intellectual honesty? Or are you just a “use every debate trick necessary to win” kind of person? And yes, that is an ad hominem, but in this context it is legitimate.
August 18, 2010 at 12:48 pm
I suppose when you criticize a friend, it means you hate him too. I’m far from anti-American. I love your country. I love to visit it, and I do multiple times a year and I love your people and your culture. Quit playing the anti-American card.
Glen Beck is a liar and a fraud. If you think any of his reasoning in sound, then you are nuts.
My claim that it is not a mosque is kind of semantic. The plans for the building do include a small mosque, but the building itself will not be a mosque. Most of the facilities planned include standard community centre stuff. The way you guys make it sound, they are going to level the block and build a mini-Mecca.
If nobody jumped on this story, nobody would have ever noticed the mosque was there. Seriously, how can someone in favour of supporting the constitution try to block private citizens from buying a building and designating a part of that building a place of worship? I don’t get it.
I’m not sure you read the entire thread. I’ll explain what I meant. Mr. Pill stated that since President Obama once quoted a muslim prayer, he is now officially a Muslim, and that because he has not publicly professed his faith in Jesus as a personal saviour, he must not be a Christian. Mr. Pill said that the words must be SPOKEN out load, or a person is not a Christian. I pointed out that this would exclude people incapable of speaking out – which would invalidate the book completely, as if that was not already done.
Did I take a shot at Christians? Sure I did. Sorry if I offended you, but it seems to be fair game here. I’m more than happy to have a civil discussion free of any attacks – in fact I’d prefer that, but my attempts at reason here have not gone very far.
August 18, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Ryan,
You said:
If you don’t back up that claim with “sound reasoning”, I will seriously consider banning you.
This post is about Governor Lingle saying something that was demonstrably false, and I showed how it is untrue. I.E., a lie.
This post is also about how CNN edited Governor Lingle’s words to leave out the part that was demonstrably false, and in the process created their own false statement. Governor Lingle is in no position to claim that “the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii” because she herself has not seen any original vital records to support that statement. She wrongly states that Dr. Fukino “issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.” Dr. Fukino has done no such thing. She has never verified the birth hospital for Obama, and she wasn’t even willing to say “Obama was born in Hawaii” until the U.S. House of Representatives said so first!
I have claimed “CNN Edits Governor Lingle’s Words to Conceal her Lie and Create their own Lie”, and I have backed it up with evidence.
I expect you to back up your claim of “Glen Beck is a liar and a fraud.”
And I expect you to stop the ad-hominem attacks such as “If you think any of his reasoning in sound, then you are nuts.”
If you fail in either of those areas, you will be banned.
August 18, 2010 at 7:38 pm
Wrong. People visiting the 9/11 memorial would look up and see a building designed to resemble a miniature WTC, with an exterior suggesting smoke rising, and a cutout of an Islamic Crescent moon and star in the side of the building in the approximate location of where a plane hit.
August 18, 2010 at 7:41 pm
Barack Obama has publicly confessed the words that make many Muslims believe he is a Muslim.
He has publicly confessed “Allah is The Greatest!”
He has publicly confessed “I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah.”
He has publicly confessed “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.
And he has not publicly done what the Bible says to be saved.
He has not publicly confessed, “Jesus is Lord”.
That’s a fact.
August 19, 2010 at 2:36 am
OK, first the Obama/Muslim stuff.
Many Muslims believe a lot of things that are complete garbage. We would probably agree that ALL Muslims believe a lot of things that are complete garbage. Who cares what they believe? Why does what they believe have any effect on Obama?
Now again, I need to appeal to some sort of sense that I know lies somewhere within you, or anyone else that posts here.
You can’t possibly believe that when a person says something aloud – whether reading the words of another person, or recalling something once said – that those words are spoken in the first person. You must know that you are mistaken in attributing this statement as a public confession. Please tell me you’re being facetious. I’m having a lot of trouble understanding the way you think.
The Bible does not say you need to publicly confess anything. I’d agree that it encourages one to be open about one’s faith, but public announcements are not necessary. I would not expect to here ‘Jesus is Lord” out of him any time soon. since I doubt he believes that. If you want to call that dishonest, I would have to concede that, but with a bit of sympathy for any politician in his position. We’re not at the stage yet where an atheist can be President of the US.
Now – Glen Beck
Glen Beck spends most of every show talking only about things that make his viewers scared. He talks a lot about doomsday scenarios, and he specifically talks a lot about the financial system’s apparent impending collapse. Then – the kicker – he tells people to buy gold to protect their assets. This is not generally great advice in this day and age, but when the show cutst to commercial, we see an ad for a gold dealer – endorsed by Glen Beck. The problem with this is that the company encourages people to buy THE WRONG GOLD, at highly inflated prices. He’s scamming them. Ask anyone who knows anything about buying gold.
http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/GoldlineGlennBeck4.jpg
That’s the main reason Beck is a fraud. He’s also a Mormon, a religion entirely based on fraud – I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that.
August 19, 2010 at 2:49 am
You mean tall, skinny, but smaller than the WTC? By that standard I was designed to resemble the WTC.
??? I can’t find any pictures of the proposed design, but seriously? Making your building look like it’s on fire is not exactly a strong statement of pride.
August 19, 2010 at 4:33 am
“Glen Beck spends most of every show talking only about things that make his viewers scared.”
Maybe they do a different cut of his show in your country, but in the US, that is far from true. Prime Example, when the Shirley Sherrod controversy broke out, Glen Beck discussed it and called for the entire video to shown in full context before anyone rushes to judgment. That was on an episode that aired BEFORE the full video was made available. However, when Olbermann, Cooper, Maddow et al got ahold of the full video, they quickly launched yet another anti-Fox News crusade. Maddow went so far as to have an entire show of pure race-mongering against the Rep Party.
“he tells people to buy gold to protect their assets.”
Clearly, you are not familiar with the practice of plugging. That part where sponsors of the show actually require the host to use part of his (or her) air time to run that sponsor’s pitch. Sponsors pay good money for those and it happens on a wide range of shows. Just turn on ESPN and you’ll see it every hour.
“This is not generally great advice in this day and age.” That is not Beck’s problem; he is contractually required to deliver those plugs and that is all there is to it.
“The problem with this is that the company encourages people to buy THE WRONG GOLD.”
That is a problem you need to take up with the sponsor that bought that ad time; or petion Beck to get a sponsor that sells the right gold; or better yet, ignore the plug altogether like the rest of us do. I don’t know about you, but I don’t pay attention to financial advice from political pundits, but if they are where you turn for such advice, be my guest.
As for the Obama/Muslim thing, you cannot ignore the fact that he recited the Islamic Prayer with perfect inflection and complimented it with a very wide superlative. You see, being the family man he claims to be, one would expect that in his view, “the sweetest sound on earth at sunset” would be that of his daughters playing or something a little closer to home. Instead it is the prayer of the world’s second most violent religion. (#1 is atheism, nobody has murdered more than atheists)
However, if you can defend Obama by claiming that he is using religion as a political cover, then he is equally open to being attacked for it. In addition, exploiting of the idea that he may be a part of said religion IOT rally support against him is also a fair tactic. Such is the price one pays for dishonesty.
As for you taking shots at Christians yet again, it’s pretty much expected of atheists to do that. I have yet to see an atheist who DOESN’T do that. Tell me, is it a contractual requirement that once you become an atheist, you must bash Christians at every opportunity? I notice that you very rarely bash any other religion, except as a tokenism. The overwhelming majority of your hate is directed solely at Christians.
Atheists’ hate of all things Christian is extremely strong. A poll was conducted on the subject of happiness. The poll got regular demographic information in addition to the core question of how happy would you describe yourself. The results were in the accompanying article and showed–among other things–that Christians were generally happier than atheists. The first comment on the article was, “Well of course atheists are unhappy because we’re being persecuted and oppressed by Christians!!!” Seriously, you blame others for YOUR unhappiness? Rather than man up and take responsibility for their own lives, atheists just blame Christians for all their supposed problems.
August 19, 2010 at 9:03 am
Ryan says:
Jesus Christ said:
Jesus Christ continued:
The Holy Bible also says:
August 19, 2010 at 9:25 am
Obama has publicly confessed the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. The opening lines of that call to prayer (the Adhan) includes the Shahada, the Islamic profession of faith.
Obama has not publicly confessed, “Jesus Christ is Lord.”
That’s just the facts of what Obama has and has not publicly confessed.
So, given that confession, according to the Holy Bible, Obama is not a Christian, but rather “a deceiver and an antichrist.”
August 19, 2010 at 3:19 pm
Mr. Pill, the Bible say one must be open about one’s faith to other people – I know that. That does not mean that one must call a press conference and say it to every person. I’m surprised I need to make this distinction.
You seem to have a hang up about him having a first rate accent. I can do a great impression of Hitler, using my finger as a moustache (clever, I know) – but that does not make me a Nazi. He lives as a boy in an area where this prayer was recited multiple times a day over loudspeakers. One can expect him to be able to remember those words. I have many fond memories of religious ceremonies revolving around Christmas. My mother is not religious, but she wanted me to know the Biblical story of Christmas. I have very fond memories of the stories, and the songs, and some of my very favourite pieces of music are gospel in nature. I’ve sung those songs, and I know all the words. With your logic, I am a Christian – apparently.
The fact that neither of you will back down on your insinuation that Obama has publicly confessed to being a Muslim shows either stupidity or dishonesty.
Aaron, you seriously do not have a problem with Beck using an entire program to make people scared enough to buy gold, against their best interests, and then telling them to buy the wrong gold during the commercial break? That’s a little different from football commentators mentioning that Coke is better than Pepsi. Beck is an evil man. He knows exactly what he is doing. His audience is very vulnerable – being quite a bit older than most shows on “news” channels, so his viewers are at great risk of losing their life savings. But if you think that’s fair game, keep watching.
August 19, 2010 at 3:34 pm
Visit http://www.islamicity.com/ and you’ll see how conversions to Islam are scrolled as follows (“Br.” is for “Brother”, “Sr.” is for “Sister”)
—————————————————————-
When Barack Hussein Obama publicly confessed the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, he “took Shahada“.
—————————————————————-
The confessions of Obama’s own mouth reveal him to be a Muslim, not a Christian.
If you want to keep discussing Obama’s faith, then comment about it on that post, not this one.
Let’s keep further comments on this current post (CNN Edits Governor Lingle’s Words to Conceal her Lie and Create their own Lie) on-topic.
August 19, 2010 at 5:25 pm
This is your last warning. Stop the ad hominem attacks, or you will be banned. Got it?
I am neither stupid nor dishonest.
If I were to turn your words back on you, it would go something like this:
Using your own words, which one was it? Stupidity or dishonesty?
You said, “The Bible does not say you need to publicly confess anything.” I proved you wrong. What say you now?
When you reply, please do not reply on this post. Instead, reply on the “confesssions” post.
August 19, 2010 at 6:08 pm
I did reply in the other post. Try to keep up, stop cross posting and you won’t confuse people.
If Obama told a good friend of his that Jesus is Lord, then he has stated it publicly. THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY YOU NEED TO CALL A PRESS CONFERENCE.
If you don’t retract your statement that Obama is a Muslim because he remembers a prayer, then you are stupid, or dishonest, or both. There’s no way around that. Your terrible logic is why I am one of the few people who bother posting here any more, or reading your idiotic rants.
Go ahead and ban me, you’d be doing me a favour.
August 21, 2010 at 5:09 am
“The fact that neither of you will back down on your insinuation that Obama has publicly confessed to being a Muslim shows either stupidity or dishonesty.”
I have already made very clear my position on that. It was right here.
“However, if you can defend Obama by claiming that he is using religion as a political cover, then he is equally open to being attacked for it. In addition, exploiting of the idea that he may be a part of said religion IOT rally support against him is also a fair tactic. Such is the price one pays for dishonesty.”
That said, If he is actually a muslim terrorist, then I have a problem with it, and so far there is reason to suspect that. Whether he actually is muslim or not, the fact that Obama, himself has provided reason to suspect it is sufficient grounds to use it against him.
As for referring to muslims as terrorists, that is also fair. It will remain fair until muslims around the world stand up and publicly renounce the use of any form of terrorism and terrorist methods (both on AND off the battlefield) to further their agendae AND begin actively purging (i.e. turning in, exposing, ostracizing, etc…) those muslims who condone, support, promote, or use any form of terrorism from their communities.
They can build a mosque “cultural center” near ground zero ONLY after they’ll allow a Synagogue “cultural center” and Cathedral “cultural center” to be built in down-town Riyadh. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
“Aaron, you seriously do not have a problem with Beck using an entire program to make people scared enough to buy gold,…”
Clearly you have never watched his show. You need to research for yourself instead of getting your talking points from d-kos. The fact that you still blow gas on that idea after I already disproved it shows that you really know nothing more than the huff-post talking points fed to you about it.
“…against their best interests,…”
That is for the individual to decide, not you.
…and then telling them to buy the wrong gold during the commercial break?”
The commercials that play during Beck’s time slot are not determined by Beck. Or do you think he is also encouraging his viewers to take advantage of the special offers available during “Dodge Truck Month” as well?
“That’s a little different from football commentators mentioning that Coke is better than Pepsi.” Funny you mentioned it, I saw a Pepsi commercial that aired in his time slot. does that mean Beck is telling his audience to buy the wrong drink, too?
“Beck is an evil man. He knows exactly what he is doing.” So now it is a conspiracy to rip off old people, is it? It is hypocritical of you to see an evil conspiracy while scoffing at others for the same thing. Further, as a staunch supporter of government social programs, you have no ground to stand on, considering those are far greater rip-offs and FORCED upon hard-working people; remove the plank from your own eye before going after the speck in his.
“His audience is very vulnerable – being quite a bit older than most shows on “news” channels, so his viewers are at great risk of losing their life savings.” It is not your place to decide who is capable or incapable of making their own financial decisions; with that mentality, no wonder you are a left-winger.
“But if you think that’s fair game, keep watching.” Once again, you need to take your problem up with that sponsor. What did I say before about taking financial advice from a political pundit?

Ryan,
It’s really very simple and straightforward that Obama has publicly confessed the Muslim confession of faith, and has not publicly confessed the Christian confession of faith.
You can rant, you can call me stupid and dishonest, but you can’t change the truth of what Obama has and has not publicly confessed.
Your wish has been granted.

See youtube recording of the Governor’s claims in the comments below. Compare Lingle’s claims to the news release to see that what Lingle said is NOT TRUE. But then, CNN Edited Governor Lingle’s Words to Conceal her Lie and Create their own Lie. [...]

As to Dr. Fukino’s second News Release….
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
There were just under 5 hours between the chicken (H.Res.593)
and the egg (Dr. Fukino’s second News Release).
On July 27, 2009, the vote on House Resolution 593 came at 6:55pm EDT (12:55pm HST).
And on that same day, Dr. Fukino’s second News Release was first made public in a PDF attachment in an email sent to MissTickly at 11:45pm EDT (5:45pm HST).
