What is the son of man? God had said “Let Us create man in our image after Our Likeness”. God created something, a man, that already existed in His likeness, after His image, and “breathed the breath of life into his nostrils and man became a living being”. That is to say man created in the image of God after His likeness has a soul, the spirit of man that could have a relationship with God who is Spirit. Man had the potential of being like God and living forever. God had also said to the man , Gen. 2:17 “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” The other side of that coin is “If you do not eat you shall surely NOT die”.

The Pharisaic Jews were about to stone Jesus to death because they said of Jesus, John 10:33-34 “You , but for blasphemy, and because You being a Man, make Yourself God.” Jesus answered the Pharisees ” Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are Gods.” —- the word “Gods” is not a posessive noun or pronoun for that matter, rather it is descriptive. Why? as King David asked, why is God so intensively interested in man? First and foremost, God is a/the creator , what will be the roll of christians in the afterlife? Jesus Himself said men are Gods. I wont argue with that. Scriptures tell us the Bereans were more noble than some of the other people in that they searched the scriptures daily to see if those things were so.
Scriptures tells us an entirely different story than the evangelical money grubbing Televangelists would have us believe.

No, I am not LDS. I read and study for myself and my children. I also enjoy (love) discussions about God and His word (as you can see). I do not try to discredit the word of God through science or any other means. Rather, I try to reconcile science, credible science with christianity. I do not try to fit Christianity to science or vice versus. I just happen to believe that God cannot be limited to religion or theory. Such as God did not wish creation and it happened nor did God create the heavens and the earth and all that is in it and abandon His creation and leave it to fend for itself. I think some call it the “enlightenment”.
If you rather I stop posting I will. The reason I came here to begin with is because there are not many christian sites and I don’t care too much for the others. So once again I am sorry is if I have intruded.
God is my life and everything else is, not irrelevant, but is not of the greatest import. If I have intruded and/or imposed on your generosity of allowing space to comment or write these long post I am sorry. It is just what I enjoy doing. But, No, I believe there is only one bible. I do not think God inspired one bible for a people and another bible for another people. I do not think God hid some golden plates with scriptures for the indians and the Utah Mormons or anyone else. As a matter of fact God’s scriptures says nothing is hidden in a corner or done in secret.
I do not think we can take every word of the bible literally. Such as “God delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt on the wings of a giant eagle”, or that “Christ is a rock” or that in the book of Joshua “The Lord made the sun to stand still” ETC ETC ETC. Or that Moses wrote the entirety of the first five books of the bible, seeing as how Moses would be describing his own death and burial and how the children of Israel mourned for him forty days.
But again, if I am intruding please forgive me, I will quit.

The word “help meet” in the Hebrew means “superior”. That is not to say the “help meet’ for Adam was superior to Adam but it means something superior to the animals and creatures Adam had named when God brought them to him. Eve was superior to anything Adam had named.

If only the descendants of Adam can be saved that means only the descendants of the caucasion race can can be saved. Simply because the lineage of Jesus Christ is traced back to the lineage of Adam in the bible and Jesus christ being a Jew by blood is Caucasion. Jesus christ is of the lineage of shem which is caucasion.
As for Eve, the mother of all living, the word “live or living” is indicative of “eternal life” and not of all life before her . Obviously, even in the bible there were life forms before Eve. Hence, only human beings after the Adam kind are to inherit eternal life. Homonids or human like creatures that existed or lived before Adam are not included in the afterlife. There are no mistakes in the bible except what some men have made in translation(s). The Life forms that existed before Adam were destroyed in the world wide deluge (flood). As a matter of fact the word(s) “help meet” in the older KJV of the bible meant “superior”. Not that the help meet God made for Adam was superior to Adam but that the help meet was superior to anything Adam had named in the animals. Eve was superior to any of the animals Adam had named. Man and woman in the bible are equals.

The land of Nod was the land of wandering. Cain was banished from the face of God and became a vagabond and a fugitive on the earth. A “vagabond” is “one who wanders” from place to place. A proper description of Nod would be the land of “Cain”, the vagabond.
Also to claim Cain already had other brothers and sisters when he was banished to the land of vagabonds, IE Nod or “Wandering”, is purely supposition. Gen. 4:16 “Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden.”
Genesis 4:25 “And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.”
Seth was the third son born to Adam an Eve. Seth was born after Cain killed Abel and after Cain was banished to the life of a vagabond and a fugitive. Eve says that Seth is a replacement for Abel. There were no other children of Adam and Eve. There was no sister(s) born of Adam and Eve for Cain to take as a wife in the land of Nod.
From the latest scientific discoveries through the HGP it is obvious that Cain’s wife was not even a person but a homonid, an animal whoes DNA is 98.7% identical to that of modern day humans. Homonids who had the ability to speak as humans speak. Homonids who crafted weapons and tools and buried their dead. Homonids who could interbreed with modern day humans. Homonids who were also cannibals. Cain’s wife was an inteligent animal, a homonid that had the spirit of an animal and not the spirit of man. Cain’s wife was not one created in the image of God and after His likeness. In short, Cain’s wife was not comparable to Eve spiritually. In inteligence, yes, spiritually NO.
Obviously, Cain was the progenitor of the daughters of men (Gen. 6:1-2), the same who were destroyed in the great deluge, the Noahac Flood.
