That’s Not Science; It’s Religious Belief

November 20, 2009

Do scientists use data to test theories, or do they use theories to test data? Scientists will claim the former, but here we have scientists who cling to the theory so tightly that they reject the data. That’s not science; it’s religious belief.

How can anyone doubt that these people are Communists?

The Workers’ World Party-staffed ANSWER Coalition first used them during the [May 1st = MAY DAY] 2006 nationwide illegal alien marches.

And yes, those are the same Che Guevara signs recycled from 2006, too… Che chic is back. It never left.

How can anyone doubt that these people are Communists?

“Irresponsible”

November 14, 2009

It’s interesting to take a look at how Barack Hussein Obama II, House Minority Leader John Boehner, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani all used the same word in different ways.

Here is a reminder of what Obama thinks qualifies as “irresponsible”:

“I felt that it would be irresponsible for me, with the first $350 billion already spent, to enter into the administration without any potential ammunition should there be some sort of emergency or weakening of the financial system.”

- Barack Hussein Obama II

U.S. Seeks Rest of Bailout Cash

Got that? Even though he said, “it would be irresponsible for me…” it was one of the few times that he wasn’t actually talking about himself. Obama doesn’t criticise himself.

When he said, “it would be irresponsible for me … to enter into the administration without any potential ammunition” he was really saying “it would be irresponsible for President Bush to leave the administration without giving me the other $350 Billion!”

So Obama got to have his cake and eat it, too. Obama got the $350 Billion from Bush, and Obama got to blame Bush for the increase to our debt under Bush’s tenure!

(By the way, House Minority Leader John Boehner said the exact opposite of what Obama said. Boehner said that he did not think the remaining TARP funds (approximately $350 billion) should be released. “Until there is a demonstrated need and a plan to address those needs,” he said, “it would be irresponsible to release those funds.“)

Bush should not have released the other $350 Billion. He should have let Obama ask for it. But President Bush was gullible, and he trusted people he shouldn’t have trusted. Two of the people topping that list of people who Bush should not have trusted: Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson, and Barack Hussein Obama II.

Now, what has Obama done recently that is not just “irresponsible”, but highly “dangerous”?

What is the Obama decision that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says is ‘Dangerous and Irresponsible’ and ‘absolutely unnecessary’?

“To the shores of Tripoli”

November 9, 2009

Happy birthday, Marine Corps!

Did you ever wonder why the Marine Corps Hymn starts with the words:

From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli

The “shores of Tripoli” refers to our military’s first battles against Muslim terrorists.

Obama, Corzine, and the Radical Left Agenda

November 4, 2009

A lot has been written about how hard Barack Obama worked in a failed effort to get Jon Corzine re-elected as Governor of New Jersey.

o-corzine

In just the last two weeks, Obama made three campaign appearances for Corzine.  Obama’s VP Joe Biden made two campaign appearances for Corzine.  And a top Obama advisor was put in charge of the Corzine campaign.

As Hot Air noted, Obama and Corzine made it clear before the election just how closely aligned they are:

“He’s one of the best partners I have in the White House. We work together,” Mr. Obama said.

Mr. Corzine, entering the final push of his close re-election bid, wrapped himself in Mr. Obama’s brand, calling him “our friend, our partner.” Citing Mr. Obama’s win a year ago, he said a victory on Tuesday would help him support the White House’s agenda.

Michelle Malkin noted how Corzine paid homage to Big Labor and pluged Obamacare.

What I haven’t seen discussed much is how Obama and Corzine were “partners” in a radical left-wing agenda when they were both in the U.S. Senate.

In my opinion, some of the most radical left-wing Senators were those who voted against:

Confirmation John G. Roberts, Jr., of Maryland, to be Chief Justice of the United States

and

Motion to Invoke Cloture On The Nomination of Samuel A. Alito, Jr. of New Jersey, To Be An Associate Justice Of The Supreme Court

(Additional radical leftists joined in to vote against…

Confirmation Samuel A. Alito, Jr., of New Jersey, to be an Associate Justice

… but the most radical ones not only voted against confirmation but also voted against cloture in an attempt to filibuster the nomination).

Corzine voted against the confirmation of Roberts, and after Corzine became Governor of N.J., his hand-picked successor to his Senate seat, Robert Menendez, voted against cloture on the Alito nomination.

Look at the other names who voted against confirmation for Roberts and against cloture for Alito. In my opinion, they are some of the most radical leftists in government, and look at the positions they hold today. Here are the names, with just a few highlighted for emphasis, but they are all bad …

Time to bring back McCarthy.

Indeed.

Drawing on primary sources—including never-before-published government records and FBI files, as well as recent research gleaned from Soviet archives and intercepted transmissions between Moscow spymasters and their agents in the United States—Evans presents irrefutable evidence of a relentless Communist drive to penetrate our government, influence its policies, and steal its secrets. Most shocking of all, he shows that U.S. officials supposedly guarding against this danger not only let it happen but actively covered up the penetration. All of this was precisely as Joe McCarthy contended.

How did such people form? How did this nation sink to the level that slime like these socialist even exist?

The answer to your question lies in what happened to the education system. We removed the Bible and allowed in people like Bill Ayers who infested the education system with Marxism.

“The philosophy of the classroom in one generation will be the philosophy of the government in the next.”

- President Abraham Lincoln

The most important business in this Nation–or any other nation, for that matter-is raising and training children. If those children have the proper environment at home, and educationally, very, very few of them ever turn out wrong. I don’t think we put enough stress on the necessity of implanting in the child’s mind the moral code under which we live.

The fundamental basis of this Nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don’t think we emphasize that enough these days.

If we don’t have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.

-President Harry S. Truman
