Secret Meetings, Despite Promises of “Transparency”

June 6, 2008:
Obama, Clinton Ditch Press for Secret Meeting

June 5-8, 2008:
Bilderberg Group meeting at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia.

Some of the most powerful people in the MSM were at that meeting, yet there was 100% media blackout of it.

Could it be that the secret meeting, for which both Obama and Clinton ditched their respective press corps, was actually the Bilderberg meeting?

More secret meetings…

Smoking gun: Memo proves secret deal denied by Obama and pharma?

February 24, 2011:

Public schedule of Vice President Joe Biden for Thursday, Feb. 24:

At 10:45 AM, the Vice President and Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis will meet with President of the AFL-CIO Richard Trumka and with presidents of AFL-CIO labor organizations.

Whatever do you suppose they’re plotting inside this transparent Obama administration White House?

Well, we’ll never know. Because this meeting of an elected federal official with top labor union officers is closed to press.

Then there are the meetings with lobbyists held just off the executive office grounds to avoid reporting them in White House logs.

You are dismissed.

Not only has the White House put a complete muzzle on Biden — an understandable impulse for anyone who’s responsible for what comes out of his mouth — they’ve now closed their meetings with the man they put in charge of Porkulus transparency. A month ago, the White House held a workshop on transparency, which they also closed to the press. Apparently, the workshop succeeded!

Transparency and accountability — now off limits to the press. That’s either the hallmark of this administration, an admission that Obama botched his VP pick, or a little of both.

    Drudge Report Headline:

BIDEN TRANSPARENCY MEETING CLOSED TO PRESS!

Yep. That’s par for the course in what was promised to be the most open and transparent administration in history…

President Obama has committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history, and WhiteHouse.gov will play a major role in delivering on that promise.
