“Ugly Campaign Rumors”, or “Ugly MSM Lies”?

Ben Smith at Politico posted Cover this! Inside the nastiest ’08 rumors.

But are they rumors, or valid questions that need to be answered?

The AOL commentary on Smith’s piece includes the following picture:

Mainstream news organizations have either debunked or found no evidence to support six nasty rumors about John McCain and Barack Obama that have surfaced during the presidential race. Take, for example, the story that Barack Obama was not born in the U.S. His birth certificate proves Obama, shown here as a toddler with mom Ann Dunham, was born in Hawaii.

That is a lie. Barack Hussein Obama has NOT produced a birth certificate. He has produced a forged “Certificate of Live Birth” which does NOT prove he was born in Hawaii. There is a lawsuit, currently being appealed to the United States Supreme Court, regarding this very issue. Barack Hussein Obama has yet to prove where he was born, and has yet to prove that he meets a prerequisite of the job he seeks: President of the United States. Barack Hussein Obama has yet to prove he is a Natural Born Citizen of the United States.

Barack Hussein Obama is the “undocumented” candidate.

And that is not an “Ugly Campaign Rumor”.  It is the truth.

For the MSM to lie about that is ugly.
