Barack Hussein Obama said:
My individual salvation depends on
our collective salvation.
Obama didn’t just say that one time.
It is core to his belief system, and he has said it multiple times.
[Update: Unfortunately, that video has been removed. It showed multiple (at least a half dozen) times, in different speaking engagements, where Obama said, "My individual salvation depends on our collective salvation". While the following video is not a replacement, it is very good in its own right: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlxKxKwyfX0 ]
The Bible says that salvation depends on:
Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, asked Barack:
What does it mean to you to trust in Christ?
After answering that question, Why did Obama say:
True followers of the Lord Jesus Christ don’t find that question “tough” to answer.
And while the New King James version of the Bible mentions the word “salvation” 161 times, it NEVER mentions the word “collective“.
So where did Barack Hussein Obama learn his unBiblical concept of “collective” salvation?
From “Rev.” Jeremiah Wright and 20+ years of Marxist ”Black Liberation Theology“.
The “Liberation Theology” that I follow applies to all people, regardless of skin color.
And it is not “collective“.
Obama’s Faith…The Social[ist] Gospel
Is Barack Hussein Obama a Jihadist Muslim? (see IMPORTANT UPDATE below)
Before the election, Obama’s web site claimed he is “a committed Christian“.
After the election, Obama skips church, heads to gym.
He didn’t even go to church for Christmas. While having a security detail hasn’t stopped Obama from going anywhere else that he wants to go, and no former President has ever let having a security detail keep him from going to church, Obama conveniently uses this as his excuse for not going to church: “Obama…often expresses concern about bringing the disruption of his security detail into the lives of others.” I think most church goers would be happy to have Obama join them at their church.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Barack Hussein Obama took Shahada
If you don’t know what “took Shahada” means, then you don’t understand that Barack Hussein Obama told the Muslim world that he is a Muslim.
heh. you are a tool, my friend. this post is silly. i’m glad you know how to appropriately bend at the knee before imaginary entities, jackass. nice reagan quote too. big fan of aparteid-backing? (i sense some insecurity in this post.)
garbage.
ciao,
sparkie
Sparkie,
Thank you for your comment. You only serve to prove that spiritual warfare is real. You are clearly a member of the jackass party: the DemoNcratic Socialist Communist Party.
Insecurity? I am quite secure knowing that the Creator of all things has promised that He will never leave me nor forsake me.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against me in judgment I condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and my righteousness is from Him.
I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever I do prospers.

Thank you for the information. I had not heard Obama talk about collective salvation. Quite upsetting that many Americans are willing to accecpt this from a man who wants to be President.
JGoodson,
Thank you for your comment and your kind words.
Please join with me in praying daily in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for all corruption to be exposed, prosecuted, convicted, and prevented in our elections.
Sincerely,

Hey, I agree with your politics. But you’re dead wrong on the issue of salvation not being collective in the Bible. The collective, corporate aspect of redemption and Christian life gets mentioned all the time in the New Testament. Redemption was something the early church expected to experience together at the Parousia. Jesus is called the savior of his body, the church, several times — never, ever “my personal savior.” Fundamentalists repeat this idea so often, they think it’s a New Testament idea (without ever checking).
CatfishJones,
Thank you for your comment.
I believe the Bible. I don’t see any references to collective salvation or corporate redemption.
Yes, Jesus is the the savior of His church, the body of Christ. But whether or not you are a part of that body depends upon what you confess with your mouth and what you believe in your heart.
There is nothing collective or corporate about that. In fact, the following verse makes it clear that we are members individually, not collectively or corporately:
I was unaware a cranio-rectal inversion could be so complete. Religious fundamentalism is a pox on humanity.
Joe, I’m not a fundie at all. But I recognize that lots of them are wonderful people who perform many, many good works … probably a lot more than you ever do. You’re probably bashing them because you see them as a threat to your wanton sexual liberation. That’s what I assume when people on the left react with such hostility. “Don’t mess with my urges, dammit!” Am I right?
CatfishJones,
Thank you for replying to Joe. You are spot-on. And Joe doesn’t realize that many of the freedoms he enjoys in this nation are precisely because this nation was founded by Christians on Biblical principles. Chances are, his activities would get him hung in Iran.
ITTRP,
Greetings,
LOL at your comment from Joe. He nailed it. Religion is a pox. Too bad he does not understand salvation has nothing to do with religion.
Peace!

I’m glad that this is getting out to a larger audience, but it’s unfortunate that it wasn’t done back when I wrote this post two years ago, when there was still time to let people know the truth before they voted…

Elaborating on my comment from two months ago…
Barack Hussein Obama said:
I think I’ve found the origin of that thought process of “collective salvation”:
Obama’s view of salvation comes directly from the Socialist/Marxist “The Internationale”, from “Chants Révolutionnaires”.
He’s always been a Communist Revolutionary at heart. If Obama wants to claim to be a Christian, then let him confess with his mouth that “Jesus Christ is Lord” and believe in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10)
