McCain entered the room alongside his campaign’s senior adviser Steve Schmidt and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. and greeted Pickens
So, two Senators who are in bed with the “Gang of 10” further undercut the #dontGo movement by meeting with Nancy Pelosi’s Unethical Stock Pick-ens.
While listening to differing points of view is fine, meeting directly with Pickens, at this time, and taking along a “Gang member”, all combine to send a message to conservatives remiscent of something he’s said before:
“F**k you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room,” shouted McCain at Cornyn.
And at the same time McCain provides cover for Pelosi.
McCain thinks conservatives have nowhere else to go so they are “stuck” with him.
Stuck with him and a pro-choice VP?
Stuck with him and pro-choice Judges/Justices? (If his VP rises to P)
Stuck with him and Amnesty?
Stuck with him and AGW taxes?
Stuck with him and ChiCom connections?
Stuck with him and his attitude that we are “Agents of Intolerance”?
Stuck with him and hostility towards Intelligent Design, even though a majority of Americans support an open debate between ID and Darwinian Evolution?
Stuck with him because “at least he’s not Obama”?
I think that attitude will come back to haunt McCain.
