“57 States”: Gaffe, or Crypto-Marxist Code?

May 27, 2008

Barack Hussein Obama Jr. said:

“It is wonderful to be back in Oregon. Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states?”

Is “57 states” just a stupid mistake, or another crypto-Marxist code?

McCarthy is usually quoted to have said: “I have here in my hand a list of 205—a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party and who nevertheless are still working and shaping policy in the State Department.”

There is some dispute about whether or not McCarthy actually gave the number of people on the list as being “205″ or “57″. In a later telegram to President Truman, and when entering the speech into the Congressional Record, he used the number 57.

A more serious fictional portrayal of McCarthy played a central role in the 1959 novel The Manchurian Candidate by Richard Condon. The character of Senator John Iselin, a demagogic anti-communist, is closely modeled on McCarthy, even to the varying numbers of Communists he asserts are employed by the federal government. In the 1962 film version, the characterization remains; in this version, a Heinz ketchup bottle inspires Iselin and his wife to settle on “57″ as the number of subversives he claims are on the federal payroll.

Could “57″ actually be another of Obama’s coded references? I think it’s actually quite possible. I believe he’s used code words in at least two of his speeches.

Evolution vs. the Biblical Account

May 21, 2008

I think the universe is a bit over 13 billion years old and that life evolved. I also believe in God. Never struck me as a problem.

vonspringer on May 21, 2008 at 3:57 PM

The “problem” is that while you can believe in God in general, evolution and 13 billion years are in conflict with the Biblical account. They can’t both be true. For example, if you believe that Jesus is who the Bible says He is, then it makes sense to believe that Joseph was who the Bible says he was, and his father, and his father, all the way back to Adam. The Bible gives the Genealogy of Jesus Christ and links Jesus Christ to “Adam, the son of God”.  If you believe the Biblical account of Jesus, you need to believe the Biblical account of Adam. If you don’t believe the Biblical account of Adam, then you really don’t believe the Biblical account of Jesus.

No Mention of God in the U.S. Constitution?

May 21, 2008

As profoundly religious as our founders were, don’t you ever wonder why God is not mentioned once in the U.S. constitution?

RightOFLeft on May 19, 2008 at 10:30 PM

Read the Signatory section at the end of the Constitution:

Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth.

To whom does “our Lord” refer?
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To what reference date does “in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven” refer?
The birth of Jesus Christ.

(Similar to how “and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth” refers to 1787 is the twelfth year in reference to 1776 being the first year of the Independence of the United States of America.)

I refer you what I wrote earlier about the Mayflower Compact. Note that the signatory section of that document reads:

In witness whereof we have hereunder subscribed our names at Cape Cod, the 11th of November, in the year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord King James, of England, France and Ireland the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth. Anno Domini 1620.

At that time, they were required to call their King “Sovereign Lord”. King James was in his 18th year of reign over England, France and Ireland, and in his 54th year of reign over Scotland. But “Anno Domini” is Latin for “In the Year of Our Lord”, and the document ends “Anno Domini 1620″. See the similarities with how our Constitution’s signatory section reads?

Both documents honor our Lord Jesus Christ.

Entropy Vs. Evolution

May 21, 2008

From this point of view, it is not surprising that entropy tends to increase with time. High-entropy states greatly outnumber low-entropy ones; almost any change to the system will land it in a higher-entropy state, simply by the luck of the draw. That is why milk mixes with coffee but never unmixes. Although it is physically possible for all the milk molecules to spontaneously conspire to arrange themselves next to one another, it is statistically very unlikely. If you waited for it to happen of its own accord as molecules randomly reshuffled, you would typically have to wait much longer than the current age of the observable universe.

Scientific American, May 2008

Sounds like a pretty strong argument against evolution.

Sheep’s Clothing?

May 21, 2008

What kind of “Change” did it represent when this man switched from wanting to be called from “Barry Soetoro” to “Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.”? Isn’t that like the “Change” Malcolm Little went through?

Messiah?
Messiah?

Or, Wolf in sheep’s clothing?

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

What Country Is This?

May 20, 2008

Let’s hope that the United States of America never becomes like the following country, highlighted in a recent DrudgeReport link:

In a nation that has not tasted and - with very few exceptions - does not expect or demand justice or freedom, all that matters is stability and security.

You can forget any talk from the new President about “stamping out” corruption. This social and economic disease is insidious and rampant.

In a country where the “separation of powers” has become a bad joke, the law courts are no less corrupt.

The threat of prosecution for tax fraud is the [Government’s] weapon of choice against anyone who dares to challenge its hegemony.

When [citizen], once the richest man in [country], used his oil wealth to promote human rights and democracy, [fascist leader] detected a threat to his throne.

The [citizen] was duly arrested and convicted of fraud. He now languishes in jail where he is in the third year of an eight-year prison sentence.

Almost every national radio and television station is now controlled directly or indirectly by the state, and the same applies to every newspaper of any influence.

That diminishing number who have the courage to investigate or speak out against the abuses perpetrated by the rich and powerful very soon find themselves out of a job - or, in an alarming number of cases, on the receiving end of a deadly bullet.

Some 20 journalists have been killed in suspicious circumstances since [fascist leader] came to office. No one has yet been convicted for any of these crimes.

[fascist leader] calls the system over which he presides “sovereign democracy”. I think a better term is “cryptofascism”

In the absence of any experience of accountability or transparency - the basic ingredients of an open society - even the most thoughtful [citizens] are prone to say: “[We] need a strong man at the center.”

Any guesses what country that is?

Obama’s Faith…The Social[ist] Gospel

May 16, 2008

Nothing is easier than to give Christian asceticism a socialist tinge.

–Karl Marx and Frederick Engels 1848 Manifesto of the Communist Party

By now, most everyone knows that Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. spent over 20 years with Reverend Wright as his pastor. We’ve heard the outrageous things that Rev. Wright has said, and continues to say. Barack has recently tried to distance himself from Wright, but what does Obama really believe?

Let’s look back at words that came out of Barack’s own mouth last year. In his speech “A Politics of Conscience“, delivered June 23, 2007 in Hartford, CT, here are some of the things Barack said:

I’ve been speaking to a lot of churches recently

Really? When a Republican speaks to a church, Democrats threaten to revoke the tax-exempt status of the church.

unfair labor practices

The man is a Marxist…it’s amazing how quickly he got the phrase “unfair labor practices” out!

faithful witnesses of the gospel

Now, let me remind you of something the Bible says about the gospel:

But the word of the LORD endures forever.”
Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
1 Peter 1:25

So, if you are going to be a “faithful witnesses of the gospel”, you should be sharing the word of the LORD.

It seems to me that each day, thousands of Americans are going about their lives - dropping the kids off at school, driving to work, shopping at the mall, trying to stay on their diets, trying to kick a cigarette habit - and they’re coming to the realization that something is missing.

He sounds like he’s paraphrasing lines from “The Matrix”!

They want a sense of purpose, a narrative arc to their lives. They’re looking to relieve a chronic loneliness. And so they need an assurance that somebody out there cares about them, is listening to them - that they are not just destined to travel down that long road toward nothingness.

Democrats are all about the “narrative”, aren’t they? How about pointing people to the solution to their loneliness…Jesus Christ?

My father, who I didn’t know, returned to Kenya when I was just two. He was nominally a Muslim since there were a number of Muslims in the village where he was born.

So Obama addresses the Muslim issue by saying his father was only “nominally” a Muslim, and it’s because of his village. (it takes a village, right?) What about the fact that his father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was given his middle name “Hussein” by his father? Both Barack’s father and grandfather were Muslim.

It wasn’t until after college…

Wait! Barack just completely skipped over any mention of his step-father, also a Muslim, who moved the family to Indonesia (the world’s most populous Muslim nation) where Obama attended a Muslim school! As an adult, Obama can recite the Muslim prayers perfectly, and calls the sound of the Muslim call to prayer, “one of the prettiest sounds on earth”. Barack, why didn’t you mention any of the following in your speech?

“I was a little Jakarta street kid,” … He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.

Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

I guess you don’t want people knowing now that you can recite Muslim prayers with a first-rate accent.

I went to Chicago to work as a community organizer

What exactly does a “community organizer” do? It sounds like a “union organizer” or a “Communist organizer”, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt here.

everyone’s got a sacred story

Everyone’s a god?

They saw that I knew the Scriptures

I’ve yet to hear you quote Scripture

But I think they also sensed that a part of me remained removed and detached - that I was an observer in their midst.

And slowly, I came to realize that something was missing as well - that without an anchor for my beliefs, without a commitment to a particular community of faith, at some level I would always remain apart, and alone.

So, you realized that if you wanted to succeed in your job, and not be perceived as “removed and detached”, you had to have “a commitment to a particular community of faith” or you’d always be an outsider.

So one Sunday, I put on one of the few clean jackets I had, and went over to Trinity United Church of Christ on 95th Street on the South Side of Chicago. And I heard Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright deliver a sermon called “The Audacity of Hope.”

Somebody needs to find a video or transcript of that sermon. Obama admits he heard it, so let’s see what outrageous things Rev. Wright said that morning.

I came to see faith as more than just a comfort to the weary or a hedge against death, but rather as an active, palpable agent in the world and in my own life.

More than just “opium for the masses”? No one that I know who is a born-again Spirit-filled believer talks about their faith as being a “palpable agent in the world”. Obama is more interested in what he can get from it, not what he can give.

I submitted myself to His will,

Oh really? Do you consider your votes on Partial-Birth Abortion to be in submission to God’s will?

But my journey is part of a larger journey - one shared by all who’ve ever sought to apply the values of their faith to our society. It’s a journey that takes us back to our nation’s founding, when none other than a UCC church inspired the Boston Tea Party and helped bring an Empire to its knees.

That’s the Communist Revolutionary money quote right there! Obama says his journey is part of a larger journey, shared with his UCC pastor and church, to inspire a revolution and “bring an Empire to its knees”.

They cheered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial when Dr. King delivered his prayer for our country.

Yes, but one of the key points of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dreams was this:

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

However you, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., are no Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

You, Barack, focus very heavily on the color of people’s skin. In your speech “A More Perfect Union”, delivered Tuesday March 18, 2008 in Philadelphia, PA, the words you used most frequently were about the color of people’s skin.

But somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together and started being used to drive us apart. It got hijacked. Part of it’s because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, who’ve been all too eager to exploit what divides us. At every opportunity, they’ve told evangelical Christians that Democrats disrespect their values and dislike their Church, while suggesting to the rest of the country that religious Americans care only about issues like abortion and gay marriage; school prayer and intelligent design.

“hijacked”? Nice terrorist code word there, Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. The one who is “too eager to exploit what divides us” is you. Your “A More Perfect Union” speech was the most racist and divisive speech I have ever heard in my life. It is an abomination that you are trying to use racism in order to form a more Socialist Union. The irony is incredible when you say, “At every opportunity, they’ve told evangelical Christians that Democrats disrespect their values and dislike their Church,” because that’s exactly what you are doing…disrespecting our values and disliking our Church. Bible-believing Christians do care about issues like abortion and gay marriage; school prayer and intelligent design. It’s the Demoncratic Socialists who are trying to force things like abortion, gay marriage, and Darwinian Evolution upon us. It’s they who have a published game-plan to “Defeat the Ultra-Right

I may come back and add more here later, but for now, let me cut to the end of Obama’s speech:

So let’s rededicate ourselves to a new kind of politics - a politics of conscience. Let’s come together - Protestant and Catholic, Muslim and Hindu and Jew, believer and non-believer alike. We’re not going to agree on everything, but we can disagree without being disagreeable. We can affirm our faith without endangering the separation of church and state, as long as we understand that when we’re in the public square, we have to speak in universal terms that everyone can understand. And if we can do that - if we can embrace a common destiny - then I believe we’ll not just help bring about a more hopeful day in America, we’ll not just be caring for our own souls, we’ll be doing God’s work here on Earth.

“a new kind of politics”…like “a new Constitution“?

“affirm our faith without endangering the separation of church and state”?  The concept of “separation of church and state” as currently implied is a deliberate misreading of Thomas Jefferson’s letter. The phrase “separation of church and state” is not found anywhere in our Constitution.  In fact, not a single one of the three individual words “separation”, “church”, and “state” are even in the Constitution at all!  The First Amendment is to restrict the government in order to protect the church…it is NOT a restriction of the church in order to protect the government!

“embrace a common destiny” you really are a dangerous man, Barack Obama. You want to replace our Constitution with the Communist Constitution. You intentionally misquoted our Constitution when you began your speech “A More Perfect Union” with “We the people, in order to form a more perfect union”. You left out the words “of the United States” because “We the people” to you means all of the Communist revolutionaries in the world, who you want to “embrace a common destiny”.

A man who deliberately misquotes our Constitution cannot be trusted to defend it, and is not fit to take the Constitutional Oath of Office:

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., you love to say “Yes We Can!”

But when a man blatantly alters the Constitution, can we trust that man to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution?  No, we can’t.

NO, WE CAN’T!

This Is An Outrage

May 14, 2008

$10 million of our taxpayer money was sent to a Communist country so that a member of the Communist Party (who, by the way, claims that if you don’t want him to work on it, you are racist…sound familiar?) could create a Mao-like sculpture of “colossal scale and Social Realist style” to become the centerpiece of a memorial in our nation’s Capitol.

I’m glad this is being investigated. I want to know who is/are the Communist(s) in our government who intentionally gave this work to Communists instead of Americans. This is an outrage no matter how you look at it. Do you want a 28-foot high Mao sculpture just off the National Mall in Washington? And we paid $10 Million in taxpayer money to help make this happen?

Wake up, Neo.

Senator John Kerry (D-MA)

May 1, 2008

Two Johns Screw POW-MIA Families

The web site of SwiftVets and POWs for Truth is still up, and Senator John Kerry still has neither answered their questions nor signed the one page form to release all of his military records. Then men asking those questions are American heroes who served valiantly, one of them a Medal of Honor recipient. Answer their questions, John Kerry!

I’d love to see the voters of Massachusetts demand answers from Kerry and refuse to re-elect him to the Senate if he continues his stonewalling.

I believe Kerry should not even be allowed to be a Senator without receiving a two-thirds vote of each House of Congress. I quote part of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America:

3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

The Constitution is clear. The evidence is clear. John Kerry is Constitutionally prohibited from being a Senator unless he receives a vote of two-thirds of each House, removing such disability.

What was this Communist, John Kerry, doing leading our country’s POW-MIA effort with John McCain? What does that say about John McCain?

The same Vietnam veterans who were considered “good guys” last election have this to say about John McCain.

Now let’s consider that both John Kerry and John McCain are in favor of two of the biggest goals of the Democratic Socialist Communists
1) Massive Global Warming Taxes
2) Amnesty for millions of low-paid illegal aliens

They sure seem like two Communist peas in a pod to me.

The Communist Threat is Real

The threat is real. The Marxists/Socialists/Communists didn’t give up when the Berlin wall came down. Far from it. They are patient and have infiltrated our college and university faculty, all branches of our government, and our defense industry. There really are people who want to bring our country to it’s knees.

A Politics of Conscience
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.
Hartford, CT | June 23, 2007

The Communists in the USA have a game plan and a new constitution that they would like to use to replace our Constitution which has been in place for over 210 years.
